Executive Education Alumni Alliance Practice Base Officially Established

On December 10th, the inauguration ceremony for the Suzhou University Executive Education Alumni Alliance Practice Base was held at Changshu Xinhua Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. Attendees included Ma Longjian, full-time discipline inspection committee member of the School of Business Administration of Suzhou University; Miao Aiguo, vice dean of the School of Economics and Management Training; Wang Xiaoyuan, director of the Executive Education Training Center; Yu Yin, deputy director of the Enterprise Customized Training Center; Li Shuyuan, training specialist; Fei Chunming, mayor of Shajiabang Town, Changshu City; Zhu Yuping, deputy mayor; Xu Ming, director of the Enterprise Service Center; Yuan Ming, staff member of the Party and Government Office; Tan Xiaohong, chairman of Changshu Xinhua Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.; alumni representatives of the executive education program; and some students from the first cohort of the "Voyage Program" mid-level management class. The ceremony was hosted by Tan Huajun, general manager of Changshu Xinhua Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., a student from the first cohort of the mid-level management class.

 

 

At the outset of the ceremony, Tan Huajun extended a warm welcome to the attending leaders and guests and introduced each attendee individually.

 

 

Committee Member Ma Longjian introduced the business school of Soochow University’s educational philosophy, disciplinary strengths, and achievements in social service.

 

 

Vice Dean Miao Aiguo highlighted the distinctive achievements of the School of Business and Management Training in the field of high-end training, emphasizing that the school has always adhered to the principle of "seeking support through service and pursuing development through contribution." The school is committed to establishing a long-term mechanism for collaborative education between universities and enterprises, and proposed leveraging practice bases to promote the deep integration of theoretical teaching and industrial practice.

 

 

Mayor Fei Chunming introduced the historical evolution, industrial foundation, and business environment of Shajiabang Town, and expressed his earnest hope for deepening cooperation between universities and the local community to jointly pursue high-quality development.

 

 

Chairwoman Tan Xiaohong introduced the company’s development journey, core business areas, and strategic plans. As a corporate mentor for the first cohort of mid-level management training programs, she stated that she would fully support the construction of the practice base and provide alumni with immersive learning experiences, case studies, and a platform for innovation and entrepreneurship.

 

 

During the awarding ceremony, witnessed by Mayor Fei Chunming and Vice Dean Miao Aiguo, Committee Member Ma Longjian, representing the Suzhou University Executive Education Alumni Association, presented Chairman Tan Xiaohong with a plaque designating Xinhua Electronics as a “Practical Base.” This marks the official establishment of Xinhua Electronics as the first practical base set up by the Suzhou University Executive Education Alliance in Changshu. In the future, Xinhua Electronics will assume key roles such as conducting course-based practical activities, organizing company visits, and hosting alumni events.

 

 

During the interactive exchange session, alumni from the executive program and mid-level trainees shared insights on core business operations, development visions, and talent needs. They also discussed topics such as university-enterprise cooperation, resource sharing, and collaborative innovation, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. The collision of ideas and the sharing of experiences among participants at different levels fully demonstrated the practical value of the coordinated collaboration mechanism.

 

 

This award ceremony marks another significant step taken by the School of Business at Soochow University to deepen industry-academia integration and serve the local economy. In the future, the university, the local government, and enterprises will use the practice base as a key link to engage in comprehensive cooperation across areas such as talent development, technological breakthroughs, and the commercialization of research findings. This collaboration will inject new momentum into the industrial upgrading and innovative development of Changshu City and the broader Suzhou region, writing a new chapter of collaborative synergy and mutual benefit between universities and enterprises.
